Odour Monitoring

Odour Control Systems specialises in odour monitoring for the wastewater industry. We operate under a self-monitoring compliance agreement with our major chemical dosing and filtration customers which means that we provide monthly monitoring of nominated compliance sites. We then evaluate results with a view to optimising our dosing performance and provide our customers with a report on performance. This provides the customer with complete visibility on the performance of our products.

In addition to this we specialise in evaluation of sewer reticulation systems (whether using odour control or not) with a view to providing the customer with a complete assessment of the odour and corrosion that is being generated in their system.

This evaluation comes complete with a range of possible options for odour control of the system and can be accompanied by budget estimates if required.

Our odour monitoring services include:

• Evaluation of the site schematics and recomendations on sampling areas and frequencies
• Wet testing to evaluate latent conditions in reticulation systems
• Gas phase odour logging of pump stations and manholes
• Evaluation and reporting on findings
• Recomendations for odour remediation

OCS uses nata accredited calibration gases and procedures that comply with accepted standard testing methodology. All test results come complete with QA analysis (where appropriate).
