Food Processing Odours

Food processing provides a wide range of different odour sources and an equally long list of possible odour causing contaminants. Food processing odours can come from cooking processes in a rendering plant or smallgoods manufacturer to liquid waste odours from a waste stream or waste processing area.

Food processing odours are relatively easy to treat. If you can capture the odour, it can be treated through a filtration unit or chemical spraying system. Some possible solutions are:

• Biofiltration System
• Activated Carbon Filters
• Odour Neutralising Spray System

Odour from a liquid waste stream can be more difficult to treat and there are several different variables to consider. The best solution is always to treat the source of the problem - the liquid - through chemical or biological dosing. This, however, is not alway possible. • Odour Neutralising Spray Systems
